Valves are generally divided into high-pressure valves and low pressure valves.
High pressure valves "normal valves" are the general standard of the fittings, which are used in Europe's bathrooms and kitchens. They are used where the water is fed, so to speak "directly from the wall. " This is the central hot water supply of the house or water heater. These valves have 2 connections (cold / hot water). The normal water pressure in Europe houses is between 3-6 bar.
Unfortunately, in practice, are often confused as to whether it is a "flow water heater" or a "pressureless water heater" is. It is in both cases, a "box", which is directly under the sink. A mistake, however, is with near certainty to bursting out of the whole system.
So if you have such a "box" under your kitchen sink, check carefully whether it is a:
- is a flow water heater (then select a "normal" high-pressure valve)
or
- whether it is a pressureless water heater (choose one low-pressure valve).
The offered high-pressure valves have the following work areas:
- line pressure (working pressure) at least 1 bar to a maximum of 10 bar
- best working temperature <65 ° C / max. Temperature 90 ° C
